Credit Officer
Lawrence joined Pearl Capital Partners in August 2023 as a Credit 0fficer responsible for the Diary and Horticulture Credit fund, his primary role is to appraise loan applicants and monitor the performance and Recovery of disbursed funds for onward lending to small holder farmers operating in the dairy and horticulture sub-sectors.
Prior to joining Pearl Capital Partners, Lawrence worked for over 12 years with the cooperative movement and served in different capacities that is Banking Assistant (Cashier) and later promoted to Credit officer at Rukiga Sacco Ltd, thereafter joined Uganda Cooperative Alliance as a Project coordinator under farmer’s voice project to address food insecurity on post-harvest handling of food crops as the main component, also served at Kakoba Mbarara Sacco as a Credit Officer for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises.
Lawrence holds a master’s degree in business administration (Management Option) from Kabale University, bachelor’s degree in business administration (Finance and Banking) from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Certificate in Cooperatives and Financial Management from Moshi University college of Business Studies (Tanzania).
