Credit Officer
Godfrey holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (Accounting & Finance) from Makerere University, Financial Cooperative Management Profession (PFCMP) from MUBCoS in Tanzania. He is currently pursuing a PG Diploma in Project planning & management of UMI. Godfrey plans to undertake a professional accounting of microfinance course in the next few years to come.
Godfrey joined PCP Uganda Ltd in April 2023 as a Credit Officer on DHCL. Previously, Godfrey worked as a SACCOs Business Development Advisor with Faith International Consults Limited, (a BDS consulting firm), before that, He worked at BRAC Uganda as Programme Officer on Y4BE project.
Also worked as General Manager of HIMA Cooperative Society before joining ENCOT Microfinance Ltd as a Branch Credit Supervisor.
Godfrey has earned knowledge and experience in SACCO mobilization, SACCO due diligence, Credit appraisal, Credit processing & monitoring, Credit risk Management, Technical Assistance support in BDS, Credit policy review, SACCO management and reporting, Partnership management, Performance management as well as preparation and analysis of the financial models with particular focus on SMEs, SACCOs and Microfinance institutions.
